Basics of Exploration

Prerequisites

  • Must be 14 years old and above.
  • Must be a certified diver from a particular scuba training organization.

Purpose

The ISE BoE is the ultimate skill refinement for every diver, no matter what the certifiction level is and no matter what configuration he or she uses.
The BoE "rec" is specifically designed for the recreational diver that feels no urge to go technical. If the need for decompression-free diving to greater depths arises,
combining the benefits of Nitrox and Trimix but still stay within recreational limits we recommend an upgrade to the BoE TEC Programm
From basic buoyancy, trim and finning techniques, to general comfort in the water every aspect of safe scuba diving is covered.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE CLASS CAN BE CONDUCTED IN:
opencircuit backmount / sidemount or any rebreather that you are certified on.

The BoE is THE tool to build a solid foundation for your ongoing education as well as for a life full of safe and enjoyable diving.

Equipment

Despite very different approaches and believes ISE allows you to enter the class in YOUR gear. The only thing we ask you, is to be open minded and ready to try different solutions provided by your instructor.
The goal of the concept is not to force you to buy things - and especially not without them making sense to you - but to create an eductaded and thinking diver. So IF you go shopping afterwards you will know exactly what to choose and why.
The BoE REC is usually conducted in single configuration and wetsuit. Depending on water- and weater conditions a drysuit can be used.
