Recreational Diver Level II

What does that contain?

Prerequisites

  • Must be 16 years old and above.
  • Should be none-smoker
  • Must have a current medical certificate.
  • Must be able to swim 25m on a breath hold
  • Must be able to swim 100m in under 3 min.
  • Must meet the general fitness level for this course
  • Release form, training contract and other documents have to be signed

Purpose

The ISE Recreational Diver curriculum is dedicated to cultivate comfortable, competent and confident divers from the beginning that do not impact the environment. It allows them to maximize aquatic fun and safety. This course is designed to prepare them for continous education like the ISE tecnical courses.

This course can also be splitted. This is done by following the rec 1 course. Afterwarts, when you feel ready, you can do the following workshops: Theory (includes nitrox), buoyancy & propulsion, night & low visibility, navigation & search, deep blue and one other workshop of choice (not all workshops are possbile at rec 2 level). Ask your instructor for more info.

Duration

The class is conducted in:

  • minimum of 5 theoritical lectures
  • minimum of 10 open water dives
  • minimum 6 days

Limits

Instructor to student ratio 1:2 or 1:3 with an assistant



General limits:

  • Backmount configuration only (single or double)
  • No decompression.
  • Depth: 30m.
  • No overhead environment (i.e caves).
  • Max. PO2 of 1.4
