Rescue Diver
Purpose
The ISE Rescue Diver course means to teach divers how to handle stress and emergency situation both underwater and on the surface. This course focuses on emergency scenarios and teaches you to handle everything coming your way.
Prerequisites
- Must be 15 years old and above.
- Advanced Open Water Diver or Equivalent.
- Should be non-smoker.
- Must have a current medical certificate.
- Must be able to swim 25m on a breath hold
- Must be able to swim 100m in under 3 min.
- Must meet the general fitness level for this course.
- Release form, training contract and other documents must be signed.
Duration
- Minimum of 2 days
- minimum of 4 theoretical lectures
- minimum of 4 open water dives
Limits
Instructor to student ratio 1:2 or 1:3 with an assistant 1. No course dives may be deeper than 12 m 2. All simulated emergency ascents may be started deeper than 6 m 3. May be taken in any configuration the student is certified on. 4. No decompression. 5. No overhead environment (i.e caves). 6. Max. PO2 of 1.4
